Burglars stole up to £10,000 worth of jewellery from a house in Three Bridges.
Several precious stone rings were stolen from the house in Forge Road between 5.15pm and 9pm on Thursday (April 3).
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: “The occupants were out of their home when jewellery, valued between £8,000 and £10,000, was stolen.
“The items include several ruby, diamond, emerald, sapphire and mother of pearl gold rings, one of which is initialled with the letter ‘J’. Also taken was a gold belcher chain with two gold boxing gloves on.”
“It is believed there are two suspects involved in this burglary and that they left towards Pondwood Road, Crawley.”
Detective Constable Karen Young said: “If anyone saw suspicious activity in the area at that time, or has been offered jewellery like this since the 3 April, we ask them to contact us”.
