Two people have been charged with importing a Class A drug after cocaine with a street value of £1m was seized at Gatwick Airport.
The pair, from the West Midlands, were arrested by Border Force officers at the airport’s South Terminal on Thursday (May 16).
A Border Force spokesman said they had arrived on a flight from Jamaica.
An estimated 10 kilos of cocaine was discovered inside cakes in baggage.
The pair were due to appear in court.
