The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Horsham and Crawley.
Frederick Worrall, 24, of Milton Crescent, East Grinstead, was banned from driving for a year, with a £200 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to possessing a Class B drug (cannabis), and to driving with illegal levels of cannabis in his blood, on the A272 at Bolney.
Jarren White, 29, of no fixed address, was jailed for three months, with an £80 victim surcharge, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to stealing aftershave from Debenhams, a TV from Sainsbury’s, cash from Affagato Coffee Shop, and hard drives from Maplin, all in Crawley.
Derek Pederson, 50, of Thirlmere Road, Ifield, was given an 18 month conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, and £450 costs. He had been found guilty of possessing a Class C drug (Subutex), and had pleaded guilty to common assault, failing to answer bail, and to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.
Simon Dezzani, 32, Lutyens Close, Crawley, was fined £117, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly.
Betrand Dickson, 24, of Talbot Road, Wellingborough, was fined £120, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to driving without insurance in Crawley.
Iwona Duleba, 27, of Treeview, Crawley, was given a community order, with a £35 fine, a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to common assault, assaulting a police officer, being drunk and disorderly, and to breaching a conditional discharge for being drunk and disorderly, all in Crawley.
Jade Pomeroy, 30, of Tanfield Road, Croydon, was fined £330, with £150 compensation, a £25 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer, and to resisting a police officer.
Liam Powell, 18, of Box Close, Crawley, was banned from driving for eight weeks, with an £80 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to speeding on the M23 at Crawley.
Steven Davis, 49, of Bohemia Road, St Leonards-On-Sea, was fined £500, with a £50 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words to an air crew member aboard a plane at Gatwick.
Paul Hammond, 39, of Oak Road, Crawley, was given a three month jail sentence, suspended for a year, with a three month curfew, an £80 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to possessing a bread knife in a public place.
Kishar Patel, 51, of Lime Close, Crawley, was given a community order with 200 hours of unpaid work, a £60 victim surcharge, £4,086 costs, and a £1,000 criminal courts charge. He had been found guilty of possessing forged postage stamps.
Nigel Bunting, 40, of Forest View, Crawley, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to possessing a Class B drug (cannabis) in Crawley.
Lee Myles, 41, of Black Swan Close, Pease Pottage, was banned from driving for a year, with a £450 fine, a £45 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to driving with illegal levels of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (metabolised from cannabis) in his blood.
Jonathan McCormack, 23, of Tilgate Way, Tilgate, was given a community order, with a £60 victim surcharge, £150 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to two counts of common assault in Crawley, and to failing to answer bail.
Taylor, Aeran, 30, of Meridian Close, Bewbush, was given a two year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing a Class B drug (amphetamine and cannabis), and admitted breaching a conditional discharge for possessing Class A drugs.
Jonathan Phelps, 33, of Freemantle Close, Oakridge, was jailed for 14 weeks, with an £80 victim surcharge and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order, and admitted breaching a suspended sentence for common assault.
Michelle Buttigieg, 46, of Wood View, Grays, was given a community order with 140 hours of unpaid work, with a £60 victim surcharge, and£300. She had pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour, assaulting a police officer, and resisting police officers, all at Gatwick Airport.
Tyler Bygraves, 21, of Seaford Road, Crawley, was given a community order, with a £50 fine, a £60 victim surcharge, £250 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to common assault in Crawley.
Donald Soronna, 29, of Cowfold Close, Crawley, was given a community order with 140 hours of unpaid work, a £60 victim surcharge, £620 costs, a £520 criminal courts charge, and £210 compensation. He had been found guilty of common assault and causing criminal damage to a front door in Crawley. A restraining order was made, barring him from contacting the victim.
Artur Krolikowski, 26, of no fixed address, was fined £100, with a £20 victim surcharge, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had been convicted in his absence on two counts of causing harassment to a woman in Crawley.
Jean-Paul Robertson, 47, of Mitford Walk, Crawley, was fined £750, with £100 compensation, a £75 victim surcharge, £300 costs, and a £520 criminal courts charge. He had been found guilty of common assault in Crawley. A restraining order was made, barring him from contacting the victim.
Robert Roach, 26, of Copleston Road, London, was given an absolute discharge, with £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress at Gatwick Airport.
Harry Gardiner, 20, of Blundell Avenue, Horley, was fined £135, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in Crawley.
Catherine Miller, 36, of Charrington Way, Broadbridge Heath, was fined £40, with a £20 victim surcharge, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in Crawley.
John Donoghue, 41, of Crescent Road, Caterham, was fined £370, with £351.25 vehicle excise back duty, and £90 costs. He had pleaded guilty to keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road in Crawley.
Carlie Murphy, 33, of Sparrow Close, Waterlooville, was fined £80, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to theft from Topshop in Crawley.
Kye South, 21, of Terry Road, Crawley, was banned from driving for a year, with a £225 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to three counts of driving with illegal levels of a controlled drug (cocaine, and metabolites of cocaine and cannabis) in Crawley.
Sergejs Pozdnakovs, 38, of Three Bridges Road, Crawley, was given an 18 month conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to common assault in Crawley.
Laura Bedford, 31, of Cook Road, Horsham, was fined £120, with £1,890 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage in Crawley.
Kathleen Tomas, 46, of Effingham Lane, Copthorne, was fined £70, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and three penalty points added to her licence. She had pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention in Copthorne.
Benjamin Anderson, 34, of Eastern Esplanade, Canvey Island, was banned from driving for six months, given a community order with 100 hours of unpaid work, a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving in Crawley.
James Webster, 44, of Parham Road, Crawley, was given a community order with 100 hours of unpaid work and a one year ban from pubs and clubs in Crawley, a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order by going to an address in Crawley.
Thomas French, 37, of Sunnyside Road, Sandgate, was fined £500, with a £50 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding at Crawley.
Adeel Qayum, 31, of Eridge Close, Crawley, was fined £660, with a £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of committing an offence.
Mal Bannatyne, 37, of Gates Close, Maidenbower, was fined £220, with a £22 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of using a mobile phone while driving in Crawley.
Osman Khan, 30, of Edrich Road, Broadfield, was fined £660, with a £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of driving without insurance in Crawley.
Trystan O’Shea, 40, of Horton Road, Brighton, was fined £120, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding at Bolney.
