Rail users are being warned of delays throughout the afternoon after a major disruption on the line at Gatwick Airport.
Southern Rail said the problem could last until at least 4pm this evening and are offering a replacement bus service between Three Bridges and Redhill for commuters.
A statement on the company’s website said: “A signalling problem at Gatwick Airport means trains are unable to run through Gatwick Airport.
“Engineers are currently on site working to resolve these problems which occurred at 11:35.
“Replacement buses are currently being sourced between Three Bridges and Redhill.”
Southern rail have released a list of alternative routes where tickets will be accepted:
-First Great passengers may use Southern services between Redhill and Gatwick Airport and local buses between Crawley and Redhill.
-Southern passengers may use First Great Western between Redhill and Dorking and London Buses between Redhill and Croydon and Metro buses between Crawley and Redhill / East Grinstead.
-Thameslink passengers may use Southern and Gatwick Express via any reasonable route.
