A teenage boy was airlifted to hospital in a neck brace after he accidentally fell at Hazelwick School.
South East Coast Ambulance Service was called to the school in Three Bridges at around 11.15am yesterday (Monday May 12).
A Sussex Air Ambulance helicopter, two ambulance cars and an ambulance attended the incident.
A spokesman for the air ambulance said the boy was aged 16 and suffered injuries to his hand, upper arm, ankle, foot and abdomen after he fell on stairs.
A SECAmb spokesman said the medical teams worked together to treat the boy at the scene.
He was put in a neck brace and taken St George’s Hospital in London by helicopter.
