You may have seen the start of some major changes taking place at County Mall.
We’re moving into an exciting phase in the evolution of the centre as we make sure we’re ready to meet the needs of today’s demanding Crawley shoppers.
It’s amazing how tastes change over time, often quite subtly. Just as you grow used to your living room wallpaper or don’t notice that your sofa’s gone out of fashion, we’ve been taking a fresh look at County Mall to make sure we stay ahead on design, atmosphere and the services we offer.
The refurbishments have already begun with modern glass balustrades being installed. The rest of the works will take place throughout the remainder of 2014 in three phases. Phase One is getting under way around the main entrances, and the foodcourt signage is being improved too.
There will be new lighting and stylish structural improvements introduced. We’re also bringing in a more contemporary edge with a stunning artistic lighting feature that will swoop through the atrium like a flock of birds.
You’ll be pleased to hear that our car- park pay stations are all being replaced by state of the art new ones with card payment facilities. Getting around will be made easier too with new, clearer information signage. All this is a great vote of confidence in the centre by our owner who is spending £5m to make sure we continue to offer a great range of shops and a better quality shopping environment. It’s already helped us secure new retailers such as Smiggle which has been attracted from Australia to join our fresh store line-up.
If you have any questions on the redevelopment check out our info-pod within the mall. We’ll be keeping this updated on what’s happening. Alternatively check our website for more details: website www.countymall.co.uk.
